CHARTER
Art Declaration
Agency
The Art Declaration Agency maintains a public register of declared artworks.
Objects, places and situations may be submitted to the Agency through an act of declaration.
A declaration proposes that an object, place or situation be regarded as an artwork.
Declarations are reviewed before being entered into the public register.
Approved declarations receive an official declaration number and become part of the permanent archive.
The Agency records declarations. The Agency does not determine artistic quality.
The register remains publicly accessible and continues to grow through new acts of declaration.
